I am geologist living in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I will be glad for any postcard, but here is the list of postcards i prefer most:

-nature, wild animals
-views of your city/town (especially nightviews)
-unusual architecture
-anything related to geology
-northern lights
-royals (especially princess Diana)
-maps and flags
-anything related to space and cosmonauts
-anything related to scandinavian culture
-harry potter, the lord of the rings, moomins
-inspirational quotes
-food
-Christmas and birthday cards in December
but feel free to send me any postcard you want. it would be cool if you write something about you, or at least about the view from your window and also i am interested in languages so it would be nice to read something on your native language. Also I love tea so if you decide to send me a postcard in envelope it would make me really happy to find the postcard and a teabag inside;)
