Hello. I'm Dino.
I like drawing, painting, creating something. I’m not a professional artist and my pictures are childish. But I like dreaming up and drawing it. Imagination is a great power! Hand-made cards are my favorite. I believe that everyone can make something beautiful and unique.
I’m fond of illustrations, especially in children books. Also I like anthropomorphous pictures of animals. Talking about art I prefer surrealism, impressionism, expressionism and naïve art.
Also I like walking, riding bicycle, watching tv-series (sitcoms, detective stories and sci-fi are my favourites), making origami, playing lego, making snowmen and snow fortress.
I've just finished studying clinical psychology, but I wish to be a lighthouse keeper, private detective or robopsychologist.
My favourite time of the year is winter. I like snow and snowfalls. And I’m interested if you have snow in winter or maybe throughout the year?
The best time of winter is winter holidays. In Russia Christmas is not as popular as a New Year. The night between 31st of December and 1st of January is the night of Magic! I’m waiting for it all year long. New Year and Christmas cards are great!
I love nature - from the most common things to amazing wonders, such as aurora borealis or giant trees.
I like animals, especially unusual ones. Some animals can be very unusual for me, but they seem ordinary to you. Unusual animals for me are anteater, seahorse, sloth, capybara, tapir, starfish, narwhal, and whales. Also I like birds (esp. little birds, water birds, penguins, and owls), insects, unicellular, deers and dinosaurs.
I am charmed by beautiful mechanisms, those who have a lot of cogwheels and springs inside and they move like bizarre organisms. So I’m fond of steampunk and clockpunk pictures. Some buildings are like mechanisms: lighthouses, windmills and wind turbines, clock towers, moveable bridges, etc. They seem alive to me! I like unusual buildings.
Transport can be interesting, too. I like especially unusual transport such as dirigibles, ferryboats, steamships. Rail transport is also great - trains, trams, monorail transport! It’s curious to know about public transport in your country and see pictures of it. I’m fond also of maps and transport schemes.
Science is interesting for me, not only psychology, but also biology, medicine, math, physics, astronomy. Space exploration is exciting! I wish someday we will explore space like it’s shown in the fantastic movies. “To explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before”! I like Star Trek and mrSpock is my hero.
Also I like superheroes (Batman, the X-men). What superpower would you choose if you can? I can’t choose between the invisibility and the ability to stop time.
I am waiting for your card! I don’t mind receiving ad or free cards. But I prefer cards written (drawings on the backside are great) and stamped and not in envelopes. Thank you and happy postcrossing!
