Hi, i am Dikkie and here in Holland it's a name for girls and also for boys. I am named after my grandmother.
I am a single mum, my husband died in 2010. We have 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy.
We live in a small town in The Green Heart of the Netherlands between Rotterdam and Utrecht. There are lots of green meadows en cows around here, and also small villages
But my heart is allways at the coast where i was born in the town Katwijk aan Zee.
So i love to go to the beach and stare at blue skys everywhere around the world.
But i also like places with an religious background as Israël and Rome. And with my family we went to France a lot.
I love music very much, from the Beatles to Pearl Jam and my favorite music is from the 60.
Together with my children we often go to concerts. I love to go outside into the country and visit te bigger towns and particularly old churches.
There are 2 cats, Karel and Sjekkie, around the house, they where born a few mounths after the dead of husband and are a great joy and comfort in our lives.
I am a creative person, like to cooke (reading cooke books) and invite family and friends, decorate my house and work in the garden. I work with older people and they give me much joy.
Now that my youngest daughter has left the house i've got some spare time left to pick up some old hobby's.

I do like cards of countries, lighthouses and sea shores and dark starry nights, but that is not a must! I like to be surprised by your choises!
