I'm a science writer, publications designer, avid diarist, and a passionate collector of fountain pens, fountain pen inks, notebooks, Starbucks mugs, and tea.

I've received a lot of postcards and now I have narrowed down what I really, really like. Please do not be offended if I say I have favorites, because all of us have favorites. Consider it my way of helping you choose which card to send to me.

Here are the postcards I am happy to receive:
- cars/firetrucks/trucks/trains/buses
- Kaj Stenvall, Moomins (Please?) :)
- My Neighbor Totoro
- flowers
- sunsets, photos of autumn, autumn leaves
- US state cards/map cards with the state names readable (I want to complete all the states)

NO MULTI-VIEW CARDS, PLEASE.

When you send me a postcard, tell me something about what's in it, or tell me something about yourself, your hobbies, etc. Please write the date on your postcards, too.

Note: Please do not send me other cards, such as the homemade stuff. Please do not send me postcards in envelopes! (Unless utterly necessary.) I'd like to see postmarks and stamps on my postcards. And please do not put stamps over the text you've written. Thank you!
