Hello,

my name is Anja and I live in Germany, in the beautiful city of Mainz (near Frankfurt, in the middle/west of Germany).

Things I like to do or are interested in are photography, sports (swimming, yoga, hiking…), going to the cinema or watching documentaries, visiting exhibitions in galleries/museums, reading… or just meeting friends and having a nice chat over a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

But most of all I really love to travel, so I’d enjoy it very much if you could send me a postcard showing one of your most favourite places in the world (not necessarily major sights) along with a few words what makes this place so special to you!

If that does not appeal to you or you don’t have such a card, I also like elephants, sea turtles, sheep, volcanoes or - as I am very much into photography – really strong photographs of whatever you can get hold of. I'd also like to receive postcards that represent the culture of your country. If you are from Japan - I love the Gotochi Cards.

But don't worry too much, I enjoy every postcard I get as long as it is unique! (I've received postcards where I could see that the sender sends the same postcard to everyone, with printed text or no text at all - this makes me sad. For me trying to find a postcard the receiver might like is part of the fun!)

If you don’t know what to write – what about telling me your favourite movies or bands? Or you can tell me about your last or next holiday or something about the country where you live.

One last thing: I never put postcards I receive on my "favourites" list. This doesn't mean I don't like them! The "favourites" are postcards I don't have that can give you an impression what I like most.
