Hello!

My name’s Kate and I am an American living in Colchester, England. I started Postcrossing a few years ago when I had first moved to Idaho in the US, and I've enjoyed it so much I've continued as I've moved around the world. I have a degree in museum studies from here in the UK and absolutely love history and cultural heritage. I'm currently working on a PhD working with museums, so I'm never bored when I go into the office! :)

I live with my husband and our cat Ophelia. Unsurprisingly, our cat is spoiled rotten. I love reading, playing video games on occasion, baking cakes (and taking them into the office so I don't eat them all!), and 3D printing.

If you've got something interesting about your town's history that's new or old, I'd love a postcard of it! I enjoy going out for day hikes, so I'll also appreciate landscape photos too.
