About Declan...
My name is Declan a 70+ grandad with three grown up children and three grandchildren.
I am a retired Textile Technologist and worked for a US multinational in Shannon Ireland. The parent company was located in Spartanburg ,South Carolina USA. The position involved frequent trips to South Carolina.
My interests include walking the countryside,,reading history books,especially WW 2, and steam trains. My wife & I have traveled to many countries in Europe,and have a few more on the bucket list.
