Hi Lovely postcrossers,

The image/avtar displayed in my profile is my own
daughter who is national winner in Indian classic
dance of "Bharthanatyam and Kuchipudi". This is
one of the most useful website so I can proudly introduce
my daughter image to many postcross users.

we are living in small town at Sirsi- Karnataka state- India.
*Historical Place for Temples at this place ---
Namely Shree “Marikamba Temple”and Banvasi is very nearer to us
about 21 kms. In Banavasi, Shri Madhukeshwar temple is there. Banavasi was a Kingdom of Kadamba. Great Emperor MAYOOR ruled
Banvasi. Great Poet `PAMPA` describe Banvasi as ~AAR ANKUSHA WITTODAM, NENEVUDENNA MANAM, BANAVASI DESHAMAM AND MARIDUMBIYAGI MEEN KOGILEYAGI, PUTTUWUDU, NANDANADOL, BANAVASI DESHADOL`. NOW BANAVASI IS A HISTORICAL PLACE. Temple constructed before 2nd century.
and “Shri Vadi-Raj Math Sonda”- 21 KM from this place.
People have belief that once we entered to this holy
place of “VadiRaj Math”, definitely a message of peace will
touch your soul.

** Attracted Places --Many natural falls very near to this city.
The world famous “JOG FALLS” is very near to this city
( 55 KM from this city.)

***This city is very near to the “GOKARNA BEACH”.
Many tourists around the world visits this place every
Year. This place is also famous for historical temple of
“Atmalinga” . It has its own myth from the Indian History
nmed ‘BHOO KAILASA”. The famous “GOA” and its ample
of beautiful sea beaches are near (100 to this place.)

*** Traditional Dances of this place - “YAKSHAGANA”, “BEDARA- VESHA” and CLASSICAL DANCES(Bharatanatyam & Kuchipudi).

Holy Rivers in India – “The famous and Longest -Ganga
born in Himalaya Mountain. The river “Cauvery”
born in Tala Cauvery is holy river of this
State. “ Ganga, Jamuna & Saraswati” –three rivers
Uniting at Sangam (Maha Kumbha Mela) - Allahabad and this
the birth place of “Jawaharlal Nehru”, the first PM of India.

Iam retired employee of Department of Posts. Really I was satisfied in
my occupation. Iam very much proud of my Department.
