Hello from Pennsylvania, USA! I currently live in Butler PA, but I consider Pittsburgh my second home because I lived there for many years. I absolutely LOVE Pittsburgh and all that it has to offer. The numerous and distinct neighborhoods, challenging geography, and spirited people really make Pittsburgh EXCITING--but small-town comfortable at the same time.

Butler, PA is most famous for inventing the Jeep brand of automobile. America's oldest beer brewery (Yuengling) is also located in Pottsville, PA. Hershey's chocolate, marshmallow Peeps candy, and Crayola crayons are also made in my state. What is your area known for? I would love to know any interesting facts about where you live.

I am a big fan of hockey and am very proud of our five-time Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins! Pittsburgh is also home to the Steelers--six-time Super Bowl champs! I am an animal lover with a special fondness for cats and turtles. For musical interests, I am a SUPER fan of Pearl Jam and have been rocking out to them since 1991.

Growing up, my family couldn't afford to travel much. So I would always ask my friends to mail me a postcard when they went on vacation. I have postcards from friends dating back to the 1980's and have accumulated quite a bit of postcards over the years. I was SO excited to find Postcrossing and I love using it to continue my "travels" via postcard. :-)
