I love receiving mail, so this looks like the best new hobby for me!

My interests? There are so many. I love animals and nature, and have a horse called Smokey and a dog called Petra. As well as general riding and horse care, I love competing on Smokey, including Dressage, Jumping, Cross-country and Showing, and am a very active member of my local riding club.

I love being out of doors, enjoy walking and am a keen GeoCacher, which takes up any free time I have after riding!

I am book obsessed and always have one to hand. I found out about PostCrossing through Bookcrossing, of which I am also a very active member. Favourites? Too many to think off, by fantasy, Sci-fi, horror, thriller, classics and historical all come to mind, plus anything with horses in!

I also love to get totally engrossed in TV series - some of my favourites are Dr Who, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Haven, Buffy, The Strain, Stargate and loads more SF/Fantasy/Horror series that I could spend all day listing! Movies are cool too and the same genres apply, although my all time favourite has to be the Lord of the Rings.

I have no preferences on what cards you send me, but anything Science Fiction, Fantasy (especially Dragons, Flying Horses/Pegasus and Unicorns), Animals (HORSES), Humour or Book related would be extra cool.

Here's a list of other random things I like:
- indians, cowboys and gunslingers - anything 'wild west'
- celtic knot designs
- trees and forests (especially oak and horse chestnut)
- chocolate, cakes and biscuits!
- big trucks and lorries - just for something different!
- anything to do with the military - army, air force or navy - tanks, ships, planes, soldiers, etc
- carousels
- anything nature or outdoors orientated (but not cityscapes!)
- humorous sayings, cartoons or jokes
- wolves, big cats, birds of prey
- the moon, stars and space stuff
- optical illusions or pictures that make you look twice
- the darker side of things - skulls, gothic stuff, cemeteries, gargoyles, vampires and demons
- Minions!

I also love interesting stamps and enjoy looking at the amazing esigns from around the world.

I'm also happy to receive notecards in envelopes and letters on interesting paper, as well as standard postcards. Free or Ad postcards are also fine, especially book and movie promotions, or if they cover one of my other interests.
