Hello, I am from France and I've registered here because I'm curious about the World. So far I've travelled to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the United-Kingdom (Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales!), Southern Ireland, Spain and Canada. I've spent a year in Scotland during College and I fell in love with Edinburgh. I hope to travel more in the future but in the meantime I'd like to learn about places I've never been to thanks to postcrossing. I've also recently gotten into cute stationery and I love the way postcards look.

I've studied biology and I have a bachelor in medical biology and a master in aquatic ecology. I love animals, all of them but I do collect stuff about lobster in particular. I love stories, especially if they have a happy end. I enjoy books, movies, series, comics, video games.... I have a soft spot for fantasy and romance.

My favorite books are the Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb and the Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling. My fav games are Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Kingdom Hearts, Pokémon, Hades... I like Dreamworks in particular How to train your Dragon and I love the moomins since I watched the 1990 TV series as a kid. I also watch anime and read manga, I've been watching a lot a sport anime lately. I also spend a lot of time doing tabletop role-playing (I run my own dungeon and dragon campaign and play in a few others with friends).

I actually like basic tourist postcards or just anything that's specific to your country. Any card will do of course though, I'm just glad that you're sending one to me. If you don't know what to write please tell me what's your favorite holiday/festival celebrated in your country or a custom you have or a idom in your mother tongue (please tell me what it means literally and the actual meaning). If nothing comes to mind then tell me what's your favorite animal and why or if you have pets tell me about them.
