About dama303...

To all the dear fellow postcrossers out there,

First of all, I hope you are all doing fine and I I hope so much for us all that we will stay healthy and can continue cheering each other up with our postcards. The coronacrisis made me be more active on Postcrossing again and I am happy about all the beautiful cards I receive, friends that I meet and also the direct swaps I could do with many interesting people out there. Thank you all so much! Take care of you and stay healthy please!

if you are visiting my profile you probably are going to send me a postcard. I am already looking forward to it! :)

May I please tell shortly about what I like most when it comes to postcards? Thanks a lot for reading this in advance!
I collect the typical tourist cards, views of your town/place/landscape, interesting landmarks and so on. I also like it very much when the name of the city/place is written on the card.
I also really love:

ROYALS, ROYALS, ROYALS: the European Royal families and eespecially everything related to Kate Middleton
- medieval castles, towns, places
- bridges (old and modern)
- UNESCO World Heritage
- books

What I do not like are animal cards, flowers, self-made cards, ad cards, art cards, paintings, anime/manga, Disney and so on.

A little bit about me... I grew up in Germany, in a small village on the countryside in Bavaria. After my language studies I spent a few years in France and sonce 2014 I live in the Netherlands. So, I call myself a true European :)
I miss France a lot and hope being able to return there one day.
I simply can't get used to Dutch mentality, the busy and stressful way of life and crowded places.

I live with my son (born in 2015) and three cats in a small town close to the Hague situated at the North Sea. I work from home as a translator and absolutely love this! First, because I like languages, but I especially also love my flexibility and independence.
It also allows me to have more time for my son.

Since my teenage years I am writing letters and even if I had a few breaks, I never could really stop it. I am still looking for penpals, so if you are interested, just let me know.

Thanks for reading this long text about me, I am wishing you all the best!
Have a nice day!
