Hello!

My name is Monika, I'm currently 23 years old and I study computer science, which is apparently pretty rare for a girl ;). I like reading, drinking tea (mostly green and red) and aimlessly surfing the net ;). I'm interested in astronomy, quantum physics, science in general and the art of healthy lifestyle, but I cannot cook ;p.

I'm new to postcrossing, but I adore writing letters. This is very exciting new hobby!
If you want to send me a postcard, here are my preferences, but feel free to send whatever postcard you want :) :

(generally speaking, a look at my favourites should be good enough to tell you which sort of cards I like the best)

- postcards of places where you live. I especially like the city-lights pictures or landscapes.

- if you live near an astronomy observatory and have cards with it on it, I'd love to receive one of them! Similar if you happen to live near an accelerator that made it to a postcard, e.g. Fermilab or CERN.

- if there is something intersting happening in your city (like a festival or a sport event) and there are postcards on it, please send them!

- IF YOU ARE FROM LONDON, please please please send something with 2012 Olympics!

- IF YOU ARE FROM RUSSIA, please send something with Sochi 2014 Olympics!

- IF YOU ARE FROM BRAZIL, please send something with the Soccer Cup 2014!

- cards with any astronomy-based content are always a go, whatever it's a starry sky or a picture of Saturn ;).

- if you have Moomins cards, I'd love them. MOOMINS RULE.

- I am not sure if there are Game of Thrones merchandise postcards, but if there are, I wouldn't mind getting them ;p.

- postcards with Madeline, the cute girl in yellow uniform that lived in Paris would be lovely to get as well.

- actually, anything Paris related would be great

- ANYTHING WITH A DRAGON ON IT IS AWESOME.

- PLEASE NO ADS CARDS.

- PLEASE NO CARTOON CHARACTERS THAT AREN'T MOOMINS. Or dragons. Or Madeline.

► Write anything you wish on your postcard - tell me about yourself, your hobbies, your day - anything! I'll love to hear from you. I find this to be the most amazing part of postcrossing - you can connect with people from the whole world and for a moment be a part of their lives.

► If you can write something in your native language with translation, that would be awesome.

► Please date your postcard!

►If you could send me some extra memorium (tea, calendar card, bookmark, tickets, promotional flyers e.t.c.), I'd forever love you!

I register every card as soon as I get them!
