About Maggie...

Hello, I’m Maggie! I am a currently a freshman in college which is so exciting but also kinda stressful haha. I live in NYC now for university, but I am originally from South Carolina. I'm excited for when I am older, as I wish to travel the world . I would love to see beautiful views of the world, and I’m so glad I found postcrossing over quarantine to connect with those in different areas.

Some of my hobbies are reading books, knitting, crocheting, and being outside. One of my biggest passions is learning, especially about culture, geography, languages, and humanities around the world. I am not sure what to study yet, so if you have any reflections on what you studied in the past I would love to hear them. Right now I am leaning towards American Studies.

If you aren't sure what to write, tell me about your favorite book, movie, poem, song, or just anything you think I should know. I love hearing little glimpses into the lives of others, it is really magical to me.

I'm very happy to receive all types of postcards. If you're interested, some of my favorite kinds of postcards are
anything art
vintage
black & white
frogs, maps
anything rainbow
postcards that show different places around the world
Garfield the Cat
handcrafted ones.
I am also the biggest Muppet fan. I love birthday cards in August and holiday cards in December.
However, I will be very happy with any you send me! I love collecting postcards of all types to display in my room :). I got a map where I pin locations that I've received cards from, and have made a collage of postcards that have been sent to me around it.
