About Kat...
Hi there!
My name is Kat, I live at the bottom of the North Island in New Zealand and I work in a library.
If you send me a postcard, tell me anything you like! I'd like to hear about your life; what you do; what your hometown is like; your favourite movies, books, and music; do you share a birthday with someone famous? or do you have a favourite person? Tell me about it! - or whatever is going on in your head at the moment.
I like any kind of postcard but here are some of my favourite types:
- pictures of your national dress, flag, flowers, landscapes, local food specialty, or movie and book characters that are popular
- animals native to your area
- postcards with text in your native language
- pictures of famous artists, writers, leaders, royalty, celebrities in your area
- weird, gloomy, strange, handmade, collage, bizarre cards welcome, too!
- religious themes, saints, holy people, images from any faith
If you are writing from Mexico, I would especially love cards with La Santa Muerte or any saints.
I have a pet parrot, named Biko. He's a Rose Breasted Cockatoo or Galah which are native to Australia. If you are writing from Australia, and have any postcards with images of these birds I would love one.
I especially like really weird, tacky, ugly, strange postcards! I'm not offended at anything, so send me any kind of postcard you like - I know I will love it!
Please no envelopes, I like cards that have been written on and stamped directly :)
I do not swap Postcrossing meetup cards, FOTW or any other cards that are part of that series. Sorry!
I am always willing to do a direct swap if you are willing to send me one back, too! :) I am especially interested if you are from anywhere in Africa, Thailand, Cambodia, Mexico or any unusual place.
Happy Postcrossing! <3
