Hello,
I am Jane and I am from Slovakia! I have a beaufitul family (daughter (25), son (23) and husband). In my free time I take care of my 53 varieties od flowers and 13 varieties of herbs and make ointments and syrops of them. I like when it´s sunny so I can spend some time with my flowers, ginger cat and children!

I like cards with
- herbs (lavender etc.),
- old herbarium pictures,
- old soviet ads and posters,
- vintage (like people, pinup etc.),
- yummy things (cakes, muffins, macarons, fruit...),
- cooking, baking, spices,
- edition Russian beauty (cards of women in folk clothes),
- Slavic folk costumes,
- old Russian postcards (see below),
- Christmas cards during November/ December.

Postcrossers from Russia: could you please send me a picture of your national costume (photo or illustration)? Thanks :) and as I used to learn Russian at school, I really enjoy and feel nostalgic when I see old photos from that era (CCCP; e.g. 1st of May, March 8th, Ded Maroz, International women´s day / Children day...)

If you know traditional herb recipe that your Grandmas used to prepare, could you please share it with me? It can be a special tea, herb mix or "miracle cure"... :)

As I enjoy spending my time in garden and learning about new flowers and herbs, I'd be happy to receive some flower/herb seeds from your country (with their names so I could google how to take care about them) if possibe - and I can send you some in exchange!
