About Manu...

My name is Manu,

I am 57 years old, married for 37 years and I have three children. They all moved out already. Our youngest daughter (26), she is autistic, gave us our first grandchild in december 2019. Now I'm a grandmother and I love it.
The part of Hamburg where I live is more like a countryside. In the past, two hundred years ago, Hamburg took over the small villages around it. Our district is the biggest part of Hamburg with a lot of old farm and greenhouses. In our Backyard we have a big naturel swimming pond. So everytime I go for a swim, during the summer, it feels like being on holidays. In summer there is no lasy time because the garden is so big and we have always something to do. In my free time I like to read crime stories, I love knitting and I'm addicted to the movies. Since 2003 we go every monday to our favotite cinema to a sneak preview.
My husband is a brillant cook and we often invite friends for dinner.
I always loved to write postcards while I'm away from home. Even when I stay home I like to write to my friends to keep in touch with them. I have penfriends who live in the same district like I do but we only communicate by writing cards or letters. :-D

One day as I bought some postcards I saw an advertisment from postcrossing and here I am......

I like to receive postcards from the places you live, to see how it looks there.
I really love cards with pictures from:
Trees, cats faces, Bridges, motives in black and white,
members of Royal families from countries with a monarchy, Edition Tausendschön and I started collecting "Keep calm" cards.
I love art postcards from China or Japan.
Feel free to send me any postcard you like.

I'm really looking forward to share your life with you for a few seconds while reading your card.

All the best to you all and happy postcrossing from Hamburg,
