Hi, my name is Nick, I'm retired and live in the U.K.
My home town is Clevedon, which is a small town by the sea, with the second highest tidal range in the world.
It has the oldest continually running cinema in the world, opening in 1912.
We have a Grade 1 listed pier, which opened in 1869.
Our county, Somerset, is famous for its cider. It's an idyllic place to live.
I enjoy the outdoor life, walking the dogs, 2 Jack Russells, Daisy and Kevin and looking at wildlife.
I have a 1965 MG Midget, which only comes out in good weather.
I enjoy socialising with friends.
Every Tuesday I volunteer on the local common, clearing scrub and maintaining the 4,500 year old archeology.
Despite my advancing years, still do Karate training and am a 4rd dan black belt in Shito Ryu. I also do yoga.
I also love travelling and have visited, in no particular order, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy Greece, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, South Africa, Lesotho, Canada, USA, Qatar, Sri Lanka, India and Nepal.
In 2020, I've booked Finland, Sweden, China, Tibet, Chile, Peru and Bolivia.
I would love to receive postcards with pictures of wildlife, rural scenes, old cars and unusual postboxes.
