Hello, I'm Charlotte, and yes, that is a picture of me with seaweed on my head! I love all things unique, quirky, and random and have spent the majority of my life in the Midwest US. I grew up in Michigan and relocated to Indiana for graduate school. No surprise that I study water resources and climate change after spending so much of my life in the "Great Lakes State".

I love the outdoors, folk music, photography, and traveling. I am very fortunate for being able to travel to so many amazing places including: England, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Ireland, Argentina, Chile, the Falkland Islands, Antarctica (yes, it was cold!) and most recently Tanzania. I really enjoy the chance to make friends around the world, learn about different cultures, and experience everyday life in new places. When not outside or out of the country, I enjoy reading, cooking ethnic foods, playing flute/mandolin, or doing something artsy!
