I am married to an adorable skinny bald guy. He makes me laugh, and not always on purpose. I work as a church secretary in a large church in my hometown. It's a great job and every day brings something or someone new.

My favorite place in the world is:
(in winter) at home with a fire in the fireplace, a good book, a glass of wine or cup of tea, some stitching, and a cat (or four) stopping by for a cuddle. I can happily putter around my kitchen for hours.
(in summer) walking in the neighborhoods or in the woods, bicycling on the many bike trails along the river or in the parks, or floating out on a lake in my kayak.

I could eat soup and ice cream every day of the year and never get tired of it. I like my coffee black and my wine red.

We live in a small city in the heartland of the USA. Iowa's land is 90% agricultural, and is a big producer of corn and soybeans, and beef and pork (I love bacon!). It's a pretty place to live, and we have four distinct seasons. I like them all, but sometimes the winters are too long!

Any postcard will be appreciated, and I would love to know what YOU liked about the postcard you send to me. Why did you choose it? What do you like about it? I don't care if it is purchased, homemade with love, or cut out from a cereal box. I love to learn a little bit about you and your life. My favorite part of the postcard is the message from you!
