Hi--I live on the East Coast of the United States. My children are all married and I have 11 grandchildren. I quit my job and intend to spend more time doing things I love. I love to read (when I can), spend time going to sporting events involving my grandchildren. Travel, my husband and I want to visit all 50 states in the USA and then the world. Each year we take two grandchildren wherever they want to go. We have slept in rain forest with the howler monkies overhead, and the birds dropping nuts on our steel roof to break them open. We have taken a helicopter to an iceberg and went dogsledding, made pasta in Italy, went down to a salt mine in Poland, made a mask in Venice, saw the queen jewels in London, and we learned about different cultures, and saw some amazing things. I love to hear about new people and places, so this is going to be wonderful experience for me. Until we meet--happy postcrossing.
