About Mélanie...

Hello!
Let discover each other through postcrossing :-)

My name is Mélanie, I'm a 32 year old German teacher, working in Saint-Nazaire (western France, Brittany). I like travelling (we have two VW-campervans!), making photography, reading, DIY, cooking...

I'll be very happy about every mailed postcard!
Feel free to send a nice free/ad-card... Handmade cards are welcome - I love DIY.
Stamps are already quite expensive, I wish that everyone could take part in postcrossing, not only people who have much money.

Following, there are only ideas...
> If your alphabet is not latin, I'd be interested in discovering how my name - Mélanie - can be written with other letters, ideograms... Thanks in advance :-)
> If you have some, you can send me a postcard with typical patterns, handcraft or objects from your country. I enjoy drawing and carving (lino, rubber) and I find such pictures very inspiring!
> You can visit my blog to see things I like - there are many!
> Funnier : I collect packages of "La Vache qui rit" (the Laughing Cow, cheese spread) from everywhere, in every languages ;-) If you eat some, you can can cut the box into a very funny circular postcard!
> I also have a thematic postcards wall... in my toilets... About toilets! You can see it here : https://www.instagram.com/p/BEI8wbME_hH/?taken-by=chez.melba
> Other things I like :
- bananas ;
- maps ;
- alphabets/typography ;
- social photography ;
- illustrations from children's books ;
- botanical drawings/plates ;
- Roald Dahl ;
- drawings/plates of insects, butterflies ;
- R. Wachtmeister's cats ;
- Charley Harper's illustrations ;
- cameras...

If you can, want and it's not more expensive for you, please could you put the card in an envelope? It's that a pity that many of your nice postcards arrive damaged at my mail box! Thank you!
And if you have some stickers "prioritaire", "par avion", "air mail", "luftpost"..., or a little something else from your country to put inside the envelope, it would be great ;)

Greetings from France,
Have fun and thank you in advance for your postcards!
Mélanie

PS: In my "favorite" cards, I only put cards which have been sent/received by other people to show things I like.
I love all cards I receive ;-)
