Hello!

My name is Chaitanya. I live in a green and peaceful part of Bangalore called Malleswaram. One of my favourite things to do is to walk around or play basketball with my school mates on the weekends.

I have many hobbies which include producing CG in the open source software 'blender', solving problems on Codeforces, playing a lot of blitz chess and sketching.

I also love sports such as:
• Formula 1 (Lewis Hamilton)
• Basketball - NBA (Steph, Kobe, MJ)
• Football - PL, LaLiga, UCL and occasionally Bundesliga (Cristiano, Bellingham, Madrid)

Music is an integral part of my life. Whether I'm studying, travelling or drawing music helps me concentrate, and to relax. All time favourite band is definitely Coldplay. Recently I've been listening to quite a bit of lo-fi hip-hop and jazz rap (Nujabes, Haruka Nakamura, Uyama Hiroto especially).

I like reading. Some of the books/series I've read in the past are:
• Young Samurai (best one)
• Eragon / Inheritance cycle (loved it)
• Lord of the Rings
• Harry Potter
• Percy Jackson, Magnus Chase and all the Rick Riordan books

I have quite an interest in feudal Japan (Edo/Sengoku period) which is because of my fascination with Miyamoto Musashi. It's because of this that I read the superb manga 'Vagabond' which is based on his life. I think Inoue Takehiko's artwork is simply amazing, I just love how realistic and fluid his art style is.
I've also read 'Slam Dunk' another awesome manga by Takehiko-san and it even fueled my passion for basketball further lol.
I don't watch much anime but I have watched Spirited Away and I always love to look at any Ghibli art. I am watching 'Haikyuu!!' now and it's pretty nice.

However, I am glad to receive any postcard, I'd love to read all the different experiences and opinions of people from around the world. You can write about what you did today, where you live, etc!
