I like all kinds of postcards but I have a strong preference to cards with a cemetery, graveyard or burial place. I know that they are hard to come by. It is not really a very popular subject but it is very interesting to see that different cultures are honouring their deceased in different ways.
I am also very much interested in cards with scenery of your city or country, like buildings, parks, nature, local festivities.
I also do love the 'Keep Calm' cards.
For Postcrossers from DE: I would love to receive a card from the 'German Landmark Series' to be found on papersisters.de. This is really a very interesting series. I already have Bayern.
But, of course, I am happy with every card sent to me.
Please write something about yourself. Perhaps what you have done that day.
Apart from collecting postcards through PostCrossing I am also a collector of postally used stamps. So if you could use some special stamps on the card that would make me very happy.
And nowadays I am really into embroidery. At this moment I am working on a map of the United Kingdom surrounded by 16 heads of different sheep.
For all you stamp collectors out there: there is a very fun way of swapping stamps. Check the website http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/thestampgame/ and perhaps you want to join.
And if you want to make a sick child smile please take a look at this site http://www.postpals.co.uk/ and send a postcard.
