About Cheryl...

Hello! My name is Cheryl. I live in the heart of Texas, USA.

We have two grown children, one delightful teenage granddaughter and the sweetest grandson who loves Legos, cars, his school friends and chatting with me on Face Time. I worked as an executive assistant at our local Police Department for over 25 years, but recently retired. I loved my job, but now it's time for family and travel.

My husband and I liked to travel and being a retired military family we lived in many different states in the U.S. and in the country of Panama for several years. Receiving a postcard from Panama some day would be a great addition to my collection :-)

My favorite hobbies include cross-stitch embroidery, quilting, crocheting, scrap booking, and cooking. I also love collecting baskets, blue and white dishes, stars, stamps and flags of the world. I would love to receive postcards with beautiful places and historical sites from your country or city to include UNESCO World Heritage sites, maps of your country or state, flags, recipes, flowers and holiday cards. And since I worked at a police department, police themed cards would be fun too.

It would also be quite an honor to receive a maxi-card from anywhere in the world, a Postcrossing stamp from any of the wonderful countries who have have one and lastly, cards from India as it is the home country of my son-in-law. Wow!! Hope I'm not asking for too much!!!

Actually, any and all types of postcards are most welcomed. I would love it if you would please remember to date your postcard and a message written in your language with translation would be a bonus!!

I can't wait to open my mailbox to find a postcard from YOU!!

Happy Postcrossing to All!!!
