About Carrie...

(I'd like to preface this by saying, I have bad vision. I am what is called "Legally Blind" which means I have low vision. Only one eye is "good" and that is at 20/300, which isn't good. So please write largish? And clear numbers, as my vision is also skewed a little. But I make it work if you don't :) Also, for postcards I send out, due to my vision, I do use a label maker for the address and note now)

Hi, I am Carrie.

I love getting postcards from all over this planet of ours! I have been doing Postcrossing off and on for about 9 years.

I have 3 cats, Cuddlez, who is 16, Shmoopy, who is 12, and Lily Love who is 6. I lived in California until 2017, when my son and I moved to Wisconsin. While it snowed where we lived in California, it didn't snow that much, and some years barely at all, so we love the snow here in Wisconsin! Plus the summers aren't nearly as hot here :) But Autumn and Winter are my favorite seasons, followed by Spring. Not fond of Summer, too warm :)

My interests.... reading. Harry Potter, Blue Cats (the postcards). I love getting the touristy type postcards also, because it allows me to see places I probably won't ever be able to visit. I also love sea life. But, I am open to any kind of postcard, as long as it isn't pornographic. Also, if you are outside of the USA, and want to, I would love a handmade postcard cut from a box of food in your country. Something we aren't likely to have here :) It's fun seeing those :)

I love all kinds of music except gangster rap. And watch a lot of tv. I am disabled (from the vision loss, and also back issues) so I have a lot of time on my hands. I also love playing a computer game called Wizard101 and Sims 4.

We look forward to getting postcards from all over the world, and sending them out :)

Oh yeah - don't worry if you don't include an image of the postcard, I have a scanner and can easily scan the card in on my end :)

One small request - if you do write a message in a language other than English, can you either also write a translation, or notate what language specifically it is so we can use a translator online to translate it correctly :)

Side note - my favorites are of the cards I've received. I favorite all postcards I get :) Because yes, you can favorite them all.
