About Christi...

Hi! My name is Christi, and I am a Librarian.

I live with my husband, our housemate, my mom, and 4 cats! Postcrossing is one of my biggest hobbies. I love choosing postcards to send to people and opening the mailbox at the end of the day to see what postcards have arrived!

Recently I have taken up music in a big way. I am taking piano lessons, Recorder lessons, and I play in a Hand Bell Choir. I find music challenging and creative and playing music helps me feel close to my Dad, who passed away earlier this year (May 2022).

I love postcards that are funny, unusual and colorful. I don’t have any of my favorites, so you can get ideas there, or go with one of these ideas:

A Postcard that represents one of you hobbies, or your job
Cats, owls, otters, or giraffes (or horses for my mom)
Postcrossing (especially meet-up cards) or mail-related
Lali Riddles
Postcards with music - maybe something I can play!
Downton Abbey, Doctor Who, or Queer Eye

Honestly, as long as it's a card that you love, I will love it too.

A message from you beyond "Happy Postcrossing" will be wonderful, but I know not everyone writes English. Just knowing that you shared a moment of your day with me is special. I love when people tell me about their day. What made it special, or sad, or productive?

With every postcard I send, I am praying for peace, good health, and happiness for every citizen of the world.
