About Craig...

***Updated October 2023***

Hello everyone!

Hard to believe I've been part of Postcrossing for 13 years now! What a great way to communicate with people around the world. I've made many good friends over the years from across the world, many of whom I have had the fortune to meet. If only everyone took part in exchanges like this, the world would be a much better place.

More about me:
I love to travel, knit, collect stamps, and cook. So far I've travelled to 30 foreign countries in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. You may find yourself receiving postcards that I've picked up on my travels. I am a high school history teacher, but have taught government, economics and French in the past. (I went to university in Paris and then taught high school English for a year in Nantes.) I've been with my husband for 20 years, and we host exchange students through Youth For Understanding. We've hosted 4 boys from Germany and have hosted 2 boys from Denmark. We are currently hosting a 5th boy from Germany and are enjoying showing him life in Michigan.

I prefer my postcards to be written and stamped. I especially enjoy postcards depicting local culture, landmarks, monuments, foods, traditions, architecture, and art. I also would love cards related to the Cold War. Over the past few years, I've become a big fan of political postcards. I am quite happy about the recent change of leadership at the White House. I also enjoy cards with cats, as I have two cats at home. (Phoebe is a 12 year old calico and Freyja is a 6 year old tuxedo cat.) However, I'd be happy with any postcards that you may send my way. I also appreciate interesting stamps. I also hope that you will take the chance to tell me a bit about your life after you've selected my card.

My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine.

Thanks for reading!
