I'm from NYC and currently live in Washington, DC. I'm a lawyer. I've primarily been a civil servant, having worked at both the municipal and federal levels of government. At the municipal level I spent a lot of time in court, but now my work is primarily administrative.
I'm a voracious reader. My preferred genres are mysteries, science fiction and fantasy. I help run my local science fiction convention. The convention mascot is a dodo. Growing up, we had guinea pigs and a beagle. Hopefully soon my life will allow me to have pets again.
