About Kathy...

My name is Kathy and I am an American living in Germany. I'm so happy to share Postcrossing with you!

I like illustrated cards, colorful stamps, and I adore folk art from many different countries. I'm happy to receive anything you'd like to send, and I'd love if you could write a little about yourself, your nickname, your town, your family, and/or pets. Do you play a musical instrument? What makes you happy? If you don't mind, could you also include the date and weather?

I like all cards, but if you need ideas, these are my favorite things:
*pets, animals and nature; I have a labradoodle named Argo and a cat named Atlas. Since I moved to Germany I fell in love with the Eurasian Blue Tit (die Blaumeise).
*favorite illustrators include Nina Chen, Mila Marquis, Racey Helps, *Lisi Martin*, Marjolein Bastin, Beatrix Potter, Jill Barklem (Brambly Hedge), Jan Brett, Molly Brett, Elsa Beskow, Margaret Tempest, Anita Jeram, Lyudmila Romanova, Noel Hopking, Margaret W. Tarrant, Jenny Nyström, Lars Carlsson, Susan Wheeler, Evgenia Chistotina (foxes) etc.
*I also really like Postcrossing cards and stamps from your country :-)

Your handmade cards are welcome, but please use sturdy enough paper to survive the mail. And I don't mind duplicates as each card is unique to the sender.
I register postcards the same day I receive them.
