Hi there all,

Wow, it's been a couple of years since I've been sending and receiving postcards.
I recently activated my account again (so yes...the amount of send and received cards does not match the years I've been registrated!) as it started to itch...I've been missing it a lot! Also, my 9 year old son read about Postcrossing and is so enthousiastic about it, it's really nice to do it together.

A bit about myself:

My name is Carolien, I'm born and raised in the Netherlands and a typical taurus as zodiac: stubborn but curious!
As a part-time job I work in an academic hospital at the department of clinical genomics, mainly genotyping patients with breast cancer. A challenging but very rewarding job.
If I have some time I like reading, being lazy with Netflix, working out in the gym, going out for dinner or a movie, getting away for the weekend, traveling, playing funny games with my son, getting together with friends and so much more.

Postcards, send me what you like! I love the message as much as the card itself.
If you have time, tell me something about you, tell me what's on your mind, what you did today, your favorite song/book/movie or something my son could learn from the country you live in.
