I am an introspective, abstract artist. My world is made special by books of all kinds... Buddhist thought, poetry, food, memoirs, humor... I love to cook, especially with locally grown food. I love all kinds of music from Leonard Cohen to opera, blues to violin concertos. In the last few years I have been hiking on the many trails here in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I am in love with life and my husband of 52 years. We have two wonderful daughters who are married with their own families. We've lived in South Carolina for over 20 years now, but it is a totally different experience than my home for my first 55 years in Massachusetts! My avatar is a photo of me looking through a stack of postcards that my granddaughter gave me for Christmas 2015. :)
