About Carol...

Hello! First of all, I will be thrilled with whatever card you choose for me, if it is in new condition and relates to your country or my preferences.

I would especially like to see Lunar New Year cards or stamps or cancellations. I know this request is not available in many countries so other interests I have include:
art, crafts, , books, libraries and museums, thrifting and auctions, special postage stamps, dishes and glassware and vintage items (but not vintage postcards)

I also have a collection of Vera Neumann (a New York designer) scarves from the 50's to the 90's and love all of her designs which were inspired by her travels around the world....I know she would have loved Postcrossing!!

About me: I live a simple life in a small town on the prairies of western Canada, in central Alberta, close to the Rocky Mountains. I love to receive mail and my postal clerks also love to see what comes to my mailbox!

Since I have not travelled the world much, I would appreciate postcards:

-of your country or area where you live, depicting your cultural heritage or customs,
-art from your country or special places in your country.

Alternately, I have these suggestions:

-watercolour art cards,
-Medieval themes,
-vintage scenes,
-travel posters
-dishes or glassware, pottery
-UNESCO sites
-postcrossing Meet-up cards
-Snoopy
-mermaids
-pirates
-Russian art or themes
-Japanese themes
- any Chinese Lunar New Year card from current or past years
-postal or stamp related cards
-scarves or Vera Neumann scarf designs
-dolls
-illustrations of animals
-I would love to receive a maxi card
-I enjoy seeing stamps and drawing on cards on the side you write on
-St. Patricks Day or Easter cards
-spring season cards
-lovely gowns,dresses or jewelry

....but these are only suggestions if you have them in your collections. If you make your own postcards, I would also be happy with that too (but please, no folded cards....I like REAL postcards).

Finally, it is nice if you write the date on the postcard that you actually sent it😄

Thank you for these considerations.....I know I will love to hear from you and what you might be doing on the day you mail my card to me!!!!
