About Cara...

Hi. My name is Cara Stallman and I live on the Gulf Coast in the southern United States. The climate is very hot and humid in the summer and we have beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. The sand on the beaches is white and looks like sugar. I have one daughter (Mia) who is very smart and special. She is 8 (born in 2005). I hope to travel the world with her someday.

When I was in my 20's I lived in Brazil and have been to Europe three times. However, would like to go now that I am older and can travel on my own terms. I work for myself. I am a consultant to cities, towns, and counties and help them secure grant funding for infrastructure projects (water, sewer, roads etc...) from the federal government. I really love my work and feel fortunate it found me. I travel around rural Alabama - it's beauty is very subtle. I love to travel and take trips. Mia is a great traveler and we have traveled a great deal within the U.S. Next year we are are going abroad. Not sure where yet - but definitely going to use the passports.

Please send me any kind of postcard you want. I like sending more than receiving cards - although I will register as soon as I can. I don't really like cards for children - send something you like. I am sure I will love it. Thank you very much for thinking of me. If you are at a loss - I live vintage cards and bird cards. If you get a postcard from me, I apologize for my terrible writing.

Also, I feel so fortunate (and a bit guilty) that I get to read and write all of these cards in my native language - English. For everyone who writes in English but speaks a different language, I really appreciate your time and effort. Thank you!

My instagram ID is @carastallman - Please follow me! Also, my facebook is: and tumblr

P.S. If your postcard is travelling more than one month, let me know. I will register it - sometimes they just get lost and for some reason my sent postcards never catch up with my received cards.
