Hello, my name is Candy,

I am married and have a grown son and two teen-aged grandsons. I live in Aurora, Colorado (USA). We are at 5,600 ft elevation. I work as an administrator at the University of Colorado Denver|Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO. I live about 1 hour from some of the most beautiful mountains. We have many mountains that are 14,000 ft high. We have more than 300 days per year of sunshine but we do get snow in the winter.

I love dogs and currently have a 5 year old black Newfoundland, Cheyenne. We just adopted a 10 year old golden lab/retriever mix, Jackson. I also have a Turkish Van cat named Kuzco. I enjoy reading many types of books and trying new recipes and new kinds of foods. I also love music of many types (Rock and Roll, the Blues, and Blue Grass are my favorites).

Two of my other hobbies are collecting unusual purses and collecting antique dolls; I have over 125 dolls and am always looking for more.

Any cards you wish to send are fine, but your countryside would be nice and anything related to your culture would be wonderful. And as a dog lover, dogs would be great, too. Cards with antique dolls would also be appreciated. I also love faeries, dragons, and steam punk, skulls, and Betty Boop.
