Hello my name is Madeleine and I'm 33 years old.
I am a mother of 2 boys and we have a sponsored child (a girl ) in Zambia - about the organization ChildFund Germany (http://www.childfund.de/de/start.html ). It's a great organization, next year my older son and I want to visit our sponsored child . Of course, I 'm most looking forward to mail from Africa , unfortunately, it is too rare - here at Postcrossing . But besides that, we look forward to every post - each card is marked on the world map with a flag - so the boys learn the same the world know . Therefore maps with known buildings / cities are very welcome.
I work at the post office in Germany , where I learned about Postcrossing . I am a very big fan of postcards, letters and reports from other countries . I like to get beautiful cards with unusual stamps.
My English is not so good, but I 'll try to do my best. Luckily, there are Google Translater , help me , my writing , hopefully good, to translate into English. In March I 'm going to start an English course here at the community college , then will hopefully follow then some.
