About Dima...

I live in St. Petersburg, North-West of Russia and love this city. I do IT projects as a projects director. I like sports (football, bicycle, skiing, in-line-skating), travelling and learning something new about people, French art-de-vie and France, history, way-of-life, architecture, making-life-better ways, nature, sauna, languages and language history, postcards, ecology, wind, sea, light houses, street lights, bright colors, Peace... Love my family and friends. I send them cards from different corners of the world that I travel to. I have a collection of coins started by my parents in 1970's. Now I'm learning Finnish and concentrated my attention on my family. I became a newborn father of the cutest daughter in August 2012.

My dream is to build a big house somewhere away from big cities in a peaceful countryside where I would gather together all my family to live happily and help each other with household and children (the one looking similar to the card from Switzerland in my Received cards collection).

I like the 'PostCrossing' project for the possibility to learn people and travel all aroung the globe via postcards. It's fantastic how it's easy and interesting. The most fascinating to me in postcrossing is to choose the 'right' card for the receiver and write some words specially to him/her. Besides, it's new fun to check receiver's address on GoogleMaps to see the surroundings. This all makes every card unique and hence valuable.

You're welcome to send any card, especially with your nature around, worth-seen architecture, bridges, history, funny/crazy cards, trams and trains, old cars, cartoons, vintage, black-and-white, old pictures, quality advertising cards, macro, crossroads, people and their everyday life, street scenes, city graffity, food, your passion, Nouvelles Images, Correspondances or Cartes d'Art ...

Please, write more than 'Happy postcrossing', 'Greeting from...' or 'Take care'. Describe something special about your country or city, town, village (sightseeing, places, people, culture, cuisine, nature) or other things that you think are special. Or you can send your favourite recipe...

What makes you happy right now? How do 'Peace' and 'Happiness' sound in your language? Please, write. And let them travel all over the world. :-)

A special request, if possible. Could you, please, attach/stick/paste/tape something local (a leaf, a bus ticket, a train ticket, museum thicket..?) onto the postcard? Thanks!
