hello from the midwest in the usa!

i love to be creative, explore new places, learn about art, and read novels. making and sending mail is something i really enjoy. it is a way to slow down and connect with yourself and others at the same time.

i welcome quirky vintage postcards, handmade postcards, and lots of writing 😄
feel free to send anything, but if it's fun to look at a list to help pick a postcard, i also like images depicting:

★sparkly, metallic and unique paper

i collect postcards of british seaside piers - a very interesting though rare postcard subject. in summer 2023 i received a 3rd place ribbon at my state fair for my postcard display on this topic!

if you're not sure what to write, i like to hear about unique local foods or celebrations in your city or country that are maybe unknown to an american.
i also enjoy the stamps from other countries & can't wait to see yours. it's one of my favorite parts of receiving a card!
