Hi, i'm Shashank ( like shawshank, but without a W ) and i live in Mysore, a relatively small city in the south of India. I have been an avid reader and a movie buff for as long as i can remember, and sort of plan my days, so that they revolve around them. I like going on long walks, listening to post rock music, travelling (sadly don't get enough time to do enough of it), cycling, taking photos and when i do find some time away from all of my interests and hobbies, I work as an Architect.

I kinda believe in and try to keep things in life as simple as I can, and if i had to characterize the way i live, it would certainly have to be using this quote by Goethe - “One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words.”

As far as postcards are concerned, i am open to anything, but would love to receive ones which are a bit quirky, funny or intriguing. My interests involve Art, Cinema, Architecture, Landscapes / Scenery, Literature, Manga / Cartoons, etc., but honestly speaking, just go ahead and surprise me. Please don't forget to write on the card, Would love to hear about you and your life.
