My name is Ronna and husband's name is Brian. We found this site by accident and thought it would be a fun thing to do together.

We live in the Western New York area of the United States. We are approximately an hour and a half south of Niagara Falls and the Canadian border and also an hour north of the Pennsylvania border.

I know there are alot of people out there that think that the entire State of New York is New York City but please be assured IT IS NOT! We live in a rural area approximately 6-7 hours away from New York City. I've actually been in New York City only twice. I love where I live where I can wake up to seeing the wildlife wandering around in my backyard. I love the smell of freshly cut hay from the nearby field and sharing the road with an occasional farm tractor.

Brian and I like geocaching and spend lots of time enjoying this hobby. We have geocached in many states, Canada and Mexico. In the winter, we enjoy snowmobiling.

I have two children and Brian has two as well. His children are all grown and living on their own while mine are just young adults. My son is in college studying Meteorology. My daughter just started college in which she is studying early education. I'm very proud of them both!

We recently had to say goodbye to a very important part of our family. Calypso, aka Callie, our Doberman Pinscher had been suffering with dementia. I had to make the most difficult decision in my life to have her put down. This was one of the most painful things I have ever had to do. I loved and still love this dog with all my heart. She was my rock every time life dealt me hardships. I feel so privileged to have shared my life with such a wonderful companion. Callie was probably one of the most spoiled dogs in the world. She is so greatly missed!

Another hobby I love is genealogy. I have discovered some very interesting things along the way and have actually found a few long lost relatives. I am what one might call "Heinz 57", meaning I have descendants from just about everywhere. To name a few, I have discovered ties to the Bavarian Mountains of Germany, Ireland, The Island of Als in Denmark, Wales, Scotland, and England.

My dream is to travel to Denmark someday so that I may see where my Grandmother's family came from.
