About Alexander...

Greetings from Almetyevsk - from the center of the oil region of Tatarstan!
We have a harsh continental climate, in summer it can be hot + 40C, and in winter frost is -40C and below. It is even considered an area of risky farming. But we have the most beautiful places - these are forests and steppes and mountains and swamps, and rivers and lakes, and all this is amazingly beautiful!
My name is Alexander, I have a wife, we have five grown children, ten grandchildren and a great-granddaughter!
I am a civil engineer and retired for a long time, but sometimes I work if asked.
We love to travel by car, visit historical sites, relax in the wild, in the forest or by the lake, on the banks of the river, observe birds, animals and plants.

I am interested in nature, culture and art of other countries.
Hobbies: postcards, stamps, labels, calendars and much more, where fishing and seafood - any images.
I love postcards with any fishing, fish, tackle and fish cuisine - this is the theme of my collections.
The priority is also:
- Beautiful and unusual places, landscapes
- The life of animals, birds, reptiles, fish and insects in nature, the environment, I especially love the kingfisher (Alcedo atthis).
- Domestic pigs and geese
- Art, in particular abstraction, surrealism, humor and the like.
- Interesting stamps and philately.

I'm not looking for postcards in my favorites, many of them I have thanks to Postcrossing. It is only for you to see if you want which type of image I like.

This list is for information only - I would be glad of any card from you.

Please write legibly - it is very difficult to read and translate English incomprehensible letters.

Peace be with you!

If you think that your card has been lost in the mail, please contact me. I know that the Russian Mail works in strange ways sometimes
