I am settling in. We have moved to the countryside. Beautiful large yard! I can now have my own chickens. I'm sorry I have written anyone lately. Hoping to start catching up this week.

I love to be outdoors all the time. So much so that me and my husband got married at the top of a local mountain where we had our first date! I'm teaching my children and grandchildren to love nature and the outdoors also.

I enjoy growing plants flowers and gardening. Tomatoes are one of my favorite things to grow. Nothing in my opinion beats a homegrown tomato sandwich with mayo and plenty of salt and pepper. Cucumbers are my next favorite to grow.

If you want to send a letter and be penpals I would enjoy that! I like learning about other people's culture. Like what does your average day consist of? School or work or hobbies? Children grandchildren? Is it hot or cold right now where you live? So send me a letter and I will write back that very day! I would love to have bunches of penpals all over the whole wide world!

Husband recently showed me a small collection he has had for years of odd coins. They are pretty old and from foreign countries. Any one want to send a small coin from your country would be very appreciated!

I've recently found out that postcrossers make their own postcards from food packages! I would LOVE to receive these! It's like learning a little bit about that person's culture... Maybe its a meal... Or a side dish... Or just a yummy snack?
