HELLO!, I am a 25 yr. old girl from Wisconsin, United States. I enjoy seeing different parts of the world, even if it is just through mail. I love traveling and learning about different cultures.

I spent the most spectacular year in the north of Finland. It is one of my very favorite countries, but the year abroad has made me want to visit every country there is. Travel fever, I think they call it.

I also spent 6 months living in Santiago de Chile. I hope that won't be the last time I live abroad!

I love to receive any postcards. If you aren't sure what to send, here are some ideas:

*northern/southern lights (Aurora Borealis), starry skies
*colorful, out of the ordinary, interesting, or intriguing postcards
*old, browning postcards
*black and white cards
*nature (volcanoes, mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, native animals, etc.)
*(from Finland, I also love Kaj Stenvall cards).

These are just suggestions, so if you don't have one of these just send a postcard that you would like to receive yourself, and I'm sure I will love it too. :-D

A cool stamp is always welcome!

I love to read about anything too. Words in your language, what your plans are for the day, a favorite quote, a saying in your country, a poem, a drawing, a recipe, favorite things, anything interesting that you want to write about. Please write something though; it's makes it much more interesting than receiving a blank card.

Feel free to stamp the postcard and write all over it =) (no need for an envelope)

Also, if you can speak Finnish or Spanish, feel free to write in it. After my year in Finland and semester in Chile, I can understand very well, and it's good practice. :)
