Hello out there. I'm a Filipina in NYC. Though I have been living here for several years, I still enjoy exploring this city and writing to people about it. Postcards have been a hobby of mine since a cousin recommended the book "Griffin and Sabine: An Extraordinary Correspondence" some years ago.

For those looking for a challenge, these are the kinds of cards I most enjoy:
*Nature scenes, landscapes
*Street scenes, everyday life
*Ordinary people living/working
*Cultural practices, national costumes
*Wild animals in native habitat
*Cities and towns near water
*Plazas and town squares
*Places where local people socialize (pubs, tea houses, cafes, etc.)
*Train stations (I just think they're romantic!)
*Old Hollywood actresses from the 1930's to the 1950's (Vivien Leigh, Deborah Kerr, Grace Kelly, etc.)
*Libraries (I was a library major)

If you don't have any of these cards, no problem! Please just write about what your life and city are like. (No envelopes, please.) Please know that I don't 'favorite' any of my received cards -- I am happy to get each one.

Because I'm far away from family and friends, it means a lot to me to receive mail. Send me a postcard, you'll make someone smile. There's your good deed for the day :)
