About Anne...

G'Day (Good day) from Australia.
Live on and run own Dairy Farm with husband on 140 acres and milk 100 cows. On the 2nd March 2019 we Retired from Milking, now run Beef cattle.
Have 3 adult sons and 2 Daughter-in-laws (no grandchildren as yet)when I joined Postcrossing, but now my middle Son and his Fiancee announced on Sat 18th July 2015 they were expecting Identical Twins Babies end of Dec 2015 or early January 2016, I am excited and thrilled to becoming a Grandmother for the 1st time and now they have made me a very proud Grandma of Identical Twin Boys born 16th November 2015 2 months Premature. My eldest Son and his Wife announced early December they are expecting a Baby June 2016 and they have made me a very proud Grandmother of a Girl born 19 June 2016 and they are expecting another baby June 2020 now have a Son born 5 June 2020.
My parents were Scottish (very proud of that) unfortunately my Dad passed away after a long illness Monday 20th March 2017, Mum passed away Friday 20th May 2011. I have 1 Brother and Sister,we were born in Melbourne Victoria, Australia.
Was a Volunteer at the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, Australia,(very proud of that and the best 4 weeks of my life)as Melbourne is my home city. My profile photo taken at the Games.
I have been to South Africa, Portugal(Lisbon), Netherlands (Holland),London,Scotland (lived in for 5 months)as parents were born there,New Zealand (lived in for 18 months), Fiji, during my early age as a 11,12,13,14 and 15 year old, have traveled around Australia with my husband Joe and eldest son who was 15 months old he is now in his 30's.
My favourite things are the Orchid (flower)John Farnham (singer),like a bit of gardening, not big on reading books prefer magazines and newspaper, going to the cinema, love watching reality TV shows, doing jigsaw puzzles have done the Map of Australia and The World, of course doing Postcrossing, my AFL (Australian Football League) team is North Melbourne/Kangaroos, we use an oval ball to kick with.
We are in Summer.
Started back after 2 year absence from Postcrossing and looking forward to see the Postcards in my letterbox again.
