About EZGİ...

Hello there! I'm Ezgi. I'm mom of @minjoon(His name is Armin). Armin is the youngest collector of the book of The Little Prince in Turkey according to the records. We collected 379 books in different languages and dialects so far. There are 419 books available in different languages and we try to reach this number. If you want to contribute to our collection we would be very happy!

Let me tell you about myself. I collect coins, stamps, bookmark, stickers found on fruits and postcards. I became an agricultural engineer since I like the solid, water and plants. But my dream was to be a teacher and that's why I studied to become a preschool teacher. (You can see the activities I do on my Instagram page @gulezgikaraman.) I volunteer as a storyteller at libraries. I published my first children's book this year. It is the first book about a unicorn published in Turkey. The book's name is "Vera'nın Şifalı Çiçekleri". It teaches the children about the perks of fitotherapy through the adventures of a unicorn. This book won the first prize of a contest held by a publishing company.

I also draw and write articles for some literary magazines, make book designs.

I am interested in origami. When I work with kids, I do origami activities with them sometimes. I teach them about it and be happy when they get creative with their works. I like doing cross-stitch, making felt crafts and amigurumi toys.

I like cactuses very much. I have a lot of little ones at home.

I like reading. I raise my son with books and stories because I want him to be a book worm when he grows up. We both have a big collection of books.

It's not important what type of cards you will send me. But if possible, I'd be very happy if you include something about you on the postcard (you can tell me about yourself or maybe tell me why did you pick that postcard for me).

Thank you for your postcards in advance :)
