atenaH(or Hanna) is a member in Poland . She has been a member for over 1 year (628 days).
My name is Hanna. I have a degree in Scandinavian studies and I work in a publishing house. I speak Polish, English and Norwegian, I also understand Swedish and Danish, so you can write to me in one of these languages.
I like reading books, orienteering sports (and everything related to maps), riding a bike and walking in a forest. I love beautiful landscapes and being surrounded by nature. I'm dreaming of travelling across the world. I like getting to know people from different cultures and countries.
I love animals, especially dogs - when I was a child I had a husky dog. I've recently adopted a puppy from Ukraine. I also have two red cats which are amazing :)
Every card I get from you makes me very happy, but if you're unsure what to choose, here you have some ideas:
*Typical tourist postcards which show a place where you live - your country/town, beautiful landscape from your country or monuments which are worth to see there (I love castles! :)). I don't have a possibility to travel so often I would like to and postcrossing makes it possible for me to 'visit' many places I'll probably never see otherwise. No matter if you live in a city which is a popular tourist attraction or in a place nobody has ever heard of, I'd be happy to get a card from this place.
* Wild animals like wolves, bears, lions, kangaroos or animals typical for your country
* Siberian husky dog
* Empress Elisabeth of Austria (Sissi), Princess Diana, William & Kate
* Beautiful landscapes
* Nature reserves and national parks
* Mountains and mountain tops
* Grey's Anatomy TV series
* Some places I'd like to visit one day:
- Seattle, USA
- Sydney, Melbourne and other big cities in Australia
- Santorini and Athens, Greece
- Transylvania, Romania
- Barcelona, Spain
Please do not send free/advert postcards or handmade postcards.
You can write to me something about yourself or your country. If you have animals, write me something about them. You can share with me your favourite quote or give me a title of your favourite book.
If your mother tongue isn't English, please write one sentence in your own language.
I'm looking forward to postcards from you! :)
