Hello!
My name is Svetlana.
Greetings from Nizhniy Novgorod, located in the centre of European part of Russia on the picturesque banks of the Volga and Oka rivers.
We have a moderate continental climate. It is warm for 6 months a year, from April to October. This is my favourite time of year. Nature with its forests and steppes is beautiful and varied.
I love walks in the city and outdoors. My city is old and modern at the same time, big and beautiful. The main attraction is the Kremlin on a hills at the confluence of the Volga and Oka rivers.
My interests: I like reading, learning new things, travelling, photographing, collecting postcards and miniature animal figurines. I also like being creative: sewing teddy bears, knitting, embroidering, drawing, scrapbooking, making handmade paper.
I also really love all animals, and cats especially.
In postcrossing, l’m just getting started in communicating with the world.
I can’t travel as much as l would like to, so l hope that postcrossing will satisfy some of my passion for travel.
