It is me and my beloved Grandma Selma (96) who love to receive postcards from all over the world. My granny used to write a lot of letters in her life, but now all her friends have passed away. She does not know how to use a computer and meanwhile she has only 10% eyesight left and I will write instead of her.

We both love nature and animals, camping, plants, herbal medicine, old trees...

We live in Bad Godesberg, a southern part of the former capital of Germany: Bonn. The flat is near to the river Rhein and every day we go for a walk on the riverside. There are some small mountains on the other side, called Siebengebirge.

My grandma was born 1919 in Masuren (former Germany and now Poland) and as young girl and woman she lived in the city Königsberg (also former Germany; after 1945 called Kaliningrad, belonging to Russia). And my mother was born there too.

War is the most horrible what humans do to each others!

And the power of love and forgiveness is the best, what can be experienced in a humans life!

So we shout out all over the world:
*Let´s push love, not war. Send postcards not weapons!*

We both believe that god or Allah or Wakatanka (or Universum...) knows what it´s good for, if something happens. You never know...

Travellers are welcome on our sofa ("couchsurfing"), although the flat has only 2 rooms. It is great fun to meet people from all over the world and talk and eat together and share thoughts and feel the connection between all of us in spite of the cultural or religious differences. :)

We don´t mind if the card comes in an envelope!
We don´t mind if there is a letter with the card!
And selfmade (with love) is also joy.
Feel free to send what you like. And write as long or short you like.
