About Andrea...

¡Hola!

My name is Andrea Gonzalez. I am a 20 year old college student. I am studying the Japanese language. My dream is to learn many languages!

I have lived in the USA for 16 years now. I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Sadly, I have not visited there since I came here.

I am into reading. I really like to read many kinds of novels and books. If you are a reader, please tell me your favorite book or the book you're currently reading. I am very fond of learning about what books have touched you. A book I can't let go of is Pieces of You by Tablo. (I also really dig his music in Epik High and his solo stuff).

I also really like learning about people and their experiences in life. Stories about yourself would be very lovely. Tell me about your dreams. Tell me about that song that hit you like a tidal wave and made you cry all night. Tell me about that one person that has inspired you to open that shop you own. Tell me about how much you just love and live for your cat. Tell me about your favorite place to watch people. I truly desire it.

I am also into watching Korean and Japanese dramas. I like some of the music from those countries. I like collecting coins from other countries, too. I am in love with having penpals from around the world and reading their letters. I think letters are truly the way to my heart. It's a really fun and rejuvinating experience. I adore orchestral instruments and can play the violin. I really want to learn how to play the cello and viola. Also the piano. I love red pandas and penguins! ♡ I also recently really love reading Haruki Murakami, my desire is to one day be able to read his novels in Japanese. When I first read What I Talk About When I Talk About Running, and then Norwegian Wood, and then Underground, then After Dark, and then Colorless Tsukuru... it was like.... Murakami-sama was just the writer I have been looking for my whole life! Or since I had a sense of what kind of writing I really, passionately love. I am currently on the journey to read everything by him. ☆

The postcard you send can be whatever of your choice. But I would truly love one that is somehow a piece of you.

I cannot wait to hear from you!
